Dr Tom R. Stoner, System VP with UPMC Hospital Services comes to us with a wealth of physician and leadership experience. Tom has worked in two very large health systems, WellSpan and UPMC for almost 20 years combined plus 4 years of private practice and is dual boarded. He has served as Major in the USAF during 911 and Operation Iraqi Freedom. As UPMC East, System VP and Patient Experience Champion over Hospitalist, Post-Acute Care and Pulmonary Critical Care he has a significantly varied history of experiences, �good, bad and ugly�. Tom has also suffered through many personal/medical tragedies which have shaped how he views the Doctor/Patient Experience and this gives him an insight that hopefully will leave you with a renewed passion for healthcare and a reason to get up in the morning.
