About Eileen Vidrine

Eileen Vidrine is a distinguished national security executive, U.S. Army veteran, and former Chief Data and Artificial Intelligence Officer at the Department of the Air Force. With over 35 years of experience, she has led groundbreaking initiatives in defense, intelligence, and air and space sectors.

As a visionary leader within the Federal Senior Executive Service, Eileen was appointed as the first strategic advisor for data to the Federal Chief Information Officer, where she pioneered data and emerging technology strategies across the government. Throughout her career, she has been a catalyst for innovation, establishing programs that strengthen workforce capabilities, promote best practices in data management and AI, and drive transformative change.

Eileen is known for her ability to challenge outdated processes, build high-performance teams, and foster collaborative environments that encourage individual growth, inspire confidence, and enhance professional development. She remains dedicated to mentoring the next generation of data and AI leaders.

Her expertise and contributions to the AI and data communities have earned her numerous accolades, including being named to the AIM AI 100 Visionary Leaders list, receiving CDO Magazine’s Executive of the Year (2023), and being honored with the DataIQ Lifetime Achievement Award (2024).

Eileen holds a Master of Science in Systems Management from the University of Southern California and has participated in executive leadership programs at the Harvard Kennedy School. She also serves on the Blackhat AI Security Council and as an advisory board member for the Mark Cuban AI Foundation.
