He has led Jefferson as one of the fastest growing academic health centers in the U.S., merging universities and growing from 3 hospitals to 18. His 2020 book is UnHealthcare: A Manifesto for Health Assurance, with Hemant Taneja of General Catalyst – a guide to radical collaboration with Silicon Valley.
