McDonald’s is taking strategic approach towards managing healthcare and the focus on encouraging their employees to live a healthy lifestyle, emphasizing the need for preventative care, and proactive management is not only good for employees or lifestyle wellness, but also good for managing the cost of their healthcare program.
With over 13,000 adult members, some of them may be facing uncontrolled high cholesterol and high blood pressure. McDonald’s results of a conducted survey discovered that since the launch of the program, 27% of eligible members have enrolled. Not only enrolled, but engaged too. Users had an average of 22 meaningful visits.
McDonald’s recognizes the benefits of working with Hello Heart to promote early detection of issues and proactive preventative management of those conditions.
