Next month’s Digital Healthcare & Patient Experience Transformation Assembly in Denver, CO is set to be a great event with our keynote speaker Dr. Lynda Davis from the US Department of Veteran Affairs. We’re looking forward to hearing Dr. Lynda Davis’ wealth of knowledge given her extensive background in both the public and private sectors.

About Lynda Davis:

Dr. Davis is nationally recognized for her leadership in the development and implementation of significant and sustainable programs that successfully support the full spectrum of quality of life support and services for military personnel, veterans, their families, caregivers, and survivors. A former Army Signal Officer and the mother of a veteran, Dr. Davis serves as the Chief Veterans Experience Officer for VA.

Her previous government tenures included serving the Department of Defense as the Deputy Undersecretary of Defense for Military Community and Family Policy (MCFP), and at the Department of the Navy as the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Military Personnel Policy (DASN MPP). She also served as the designated lead for the joint Department of Defense (DoD) and VA response to the recommendations of the Commission on Care for America’s Returning Wounded Warriors. In that role, Dr. Davis promoted the consistent delivery of highest quality, comprehensive care, and support by creating the DoD and VA Recovery Care Programs, initiating the use of comprehensive, family-inclusive Recovery Care Plans and launching the National Resource Directory.

Prior to joining the VA, Dr. Davis served as the Executive Vice President at the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS), where she was the Executive Director of the Military and Veteran Caregiver Network (MVCN), and as the CEO of a service-disabled veteran-owned small business specializing in education, training and health and human services. A former clinician at a VA Medical Center, Dr. Davis served on the faculty of the Departments of Psychiatry and Public Administration at the University of Southern California where she earned a Ph.D. and a Masters of Public Administration with a specialization in Human Services Administration; she also holds a Masters of Arts in Community Clinical Psychology.

Digital Healthcare Transformation

The future of healthcare is digital. With the FDA providing clarity with the launch of new regulations regarding digital technology in 2018, developers and healthcare industry stakeholders alike are working to transform the patient experience.

The healthcare landscape is changing. The on-demand patient increasingly favors digital technology and platforms. According to Pew Research, a third of Americans have gone online and searched symptoms, in an attempt to diagnose a medical condition.

The US healthcare industry is unique, as it markets direct-to-consumer or direct-to-patient. Digital marketing technology is enabling healthcare marketers to talk directly to consumers in a new, more engaging way.

The Millennium Alliance is pleased to announce our bi-annual Digital Healthcare Transformation Assembly will be taking place on November 20-21, 2019.
