And his work in intelligence analysis, counterterrorism, and critical infrastructure protection influenced his approach to cybersecurity. Specifically, the fields highlighted the need to build a cloud-based automated exchange platform that addresses barriers to sharing information, while providing immediate value to operators defending networks. He is also a founding board member of the Cloud Security Alliance.
