About Noel Kinder
Noel Kinder is a seasoned global operations leader with more than two decades of experience in driving business transformation and advancing sustainability initiatives. He is renowned for his leadership in organizational change, navigating crises with purpose, and his hands-on approach to ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) and sustainability.
In his role as Chief Sustainability Officer at Nike, Noel played a pivotal role in accelerating the company’s materials innovation strategy, ensuring alignment with sustainability objectives. His efforts positioned Nike at the forefront of corporate sustainability, fostering collaboration with governments, NGOs, academia, and the media. Noel also led the transformation of labor and environmental practices across Nike’s supply chain, impacting over 550 factories in 42 countries. He was a key external spokesperson for Nike’s sustainability efforts.
Noel has contributed to several advisory boards, including the Collab Fund’s Sustainability Advisory Board, the NYSE Sustainability Advisory Council, and the Global Fashion Summit Steering Committee. In 2024, he joined The Executive Council at o9 Solutions, where he leverages his expertise in global sustainability, supply chain optimization, and government relations to drive impactful change.
