Paul's Biography

In this role, Paul is responsible for the direction of all technology and information systems of Costco Wholesale worldwide. Paul joined Costco in 1985 and has served on the company’s Executive Committee since 1992.

Prior to his current role he has previously held the following positions at Costco:

Prior to Costco, Paul worked in operations at Target, Safeway and Fed Mart Corporations.

Costco operates an international chain of membership warehouses that carry quality, brand name merchandise at substantially lower prices than are typically found at conventional wholesale or retail sources. Costco currently has operations in the United States, Canada, Mexico, England, Scotland, Spain Japan, Taiwan, Korea, and Australia. Costco is currently listed as the nineteenth largest company in America with revenues in excess of one hundred billion dollars.

In addition to his role at Costco, Paul serves as the Chairman of Agros International, a member of the State of Washington’s Technology Services Board, a member of the Board of Heritage University, a member of the Founding Board of the Information School at the University of Washington and is an Elder in his church.

Paul and his wife Susan have four children.
