This Week’s Publication Review Is A Sight For Marketer’s Eyes

 -

Happy Thursday! If you are just tuning in, don’t worry, you are just in time. Thursday is the day where we release a publication review that we think makes an impact on all the industries that we know and love.

We continue to rotate industries so everyone gets to benefit from our wise words of wisdom. This week, we will be reviewing a popular publication that we tend to get a lot of our knowledge from.

With Adweek this week, we thought it would be a perfect opportunity to review a publication that covers this event.

AdAge

AdAge, or Advertising Age, is your one-stop shop surrounding all things marketing and advertisement. This organization doesn’t just stop at online publications, it expands to print, social, and events.

According to AdAge’s social media kit, there are 2.6 unique monthly users through digital, and 86% of those people use AdAge to keep up to date with current events.

Ad Age is a daily must-read for an influential audience of decision makers and disruptors across the marketing and media landscape.

Created in 1930 to cover a burgeoning industry with objectivity, accuracy, and fairness, Ad Age continues to be powered by award-winning journalism. Today, Ad Age is a global media brand focusing on curated creativity, data and analysis, people and culture, and innovation and forecasting. Adage posted.

Up To Date

Digital Diary Review: 10/10

AdAge is extremely up to date, delivering readers with the most recent, featured and most popular news stories surrounding the marketing industry.

Alongside the articles, you can find the time they were released, which is every 20 minutes or so. This means that AdAge is constantly buffering out new content for readers to stay as up to date as possible.

The articles are catchy and offer readers with visual components as well as headlines, and a small description surrounding what the article is about.

Informative

Digital Diary Review: 10/10

AdAge is very informative, with each article being very in depth, including relevant quotes and up to date information. Along with the actual context of the article, AdAge provides readers with tags, as well as the author’s name and link to a bio at the bottom.

This proves that AdAge’s articles are credible, and focuses in on keywords that affect the industry.

Ad Age Datacenter is the irrefutable resource for the statistics and insights that matter on agencies, advertisers, and marketing trends.” AdAge posts.

Some articles differ depending on the category they fall under. For example, featured pieces receive more content and photography, and also can be viewed in print as well.

AdAge does the photography for the article and gets first-hand information from the people that are involved. For example, the most recent featured story involves The Rock. You can view it here.

Accessible

Digital Diary Review: 10/10

AdAge is extremely accessible especially when it comes to social media followers. Because of a large number of followers and subscribers AdAge has, it is constantly retweeted or shared among social platforms, which makes it accessible for readers.

You can follow AdAge through Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, and Tumblr.

If you are a fan of AdAge, you can become a subscriber by filling out a registration form, at a cost of $2.10 a week for the basic package. The highest package is $6.33 a week, and the middle package is $3.63 a week.
