Apple takes Experiential Retail to the next level with ‘Today at Apple’

-Apple takes Experiential Retail to the next level with 'Today at Apple'

Late last week, retail giant Apple announced their new initiative ‘Today at Apple’, offering special educational programs in-store.

Apple is redefining its commitment to the educational community, by offering over 60 classes. Weekend Kids Hours sessions will focus on music making and coding robots, and Teacher Tuesday to offer education on how to use technology to enhance learning in the classroom. That’s not all. A new Business Circuits program will help small businesses learn to activate technology to grow their business. With such a wide range of technology becoming available, many leaders feel ill equipped to deal with, make choices, or use emerging opportunities with mobile technology.

“At Apple, we believe that people with passion can change the world. In an era of social everything, we want to spark possibility and opportunity in the creative arts, in real life, person to person. Across our almost 500 stores through our 60,000 incredible employees impacting their local communities.

I can’t imagine a greater influence than inspiring more people to fuel their curiosity and follow their passions. That would truly be leaving the world better than we found it. I hope you’ll join us and share your experience.” Angela Ahrendts, LinkedIn Post.

Angela Ahrendts and her team at Apple Retail have reimagined the Apple Store experience, elevating the brand once more.

“Those who center their business on improving people’s lives have a growth rate triple that of their competitors, and they outperform the market by a huge margin. They dominate their categories, create new categories, and maximize profit in the long term.” – Jim Stengel, from his book, Grow.

From experiential retail to inspiration retail, Apple is changing the game by working to improve customers’ lives. With this, I am sure Apple will continue to dominate.
